Is Oat Milk Gluten Free?

Oats are a gluten-free grain, but during the process of making oat milk, there is often cross-contamination with gluten. It is for reason that our oat milk products are not gluten free.

What is canola oil?

Canola is a flowering plant, that belongs to the mustard or cabbage family, famous for its golden-yellow flowers. Canola oil is produced from the seeds of the rape or canola plant.

Why do you use canola oil?

We use a very small amount of canola oil in our oat milk for its exceptional emulsifying properties, creating the smooth, creamy texture you love.

Canola oil:

Is high in beneficial mono- and polyunsaturated fats

Is low in saturated fat

Is a good source of vitamin E

While there are mixed opinions about seed oils, Harvard research supports that when consumed as part of a balanced diet, they are not harmful and can even be beneficial for heart health.

At Don’t Dairy, we are not a health brand, and we’re not here to offer dietary advice. Our goal is simple: to create a delicious, dairy-free, no-added-sugar drink that delivers on taste and texture—nothing more, nothing less.

Is oat milk lactose and dairy free?

Yes, it is a non-dairy, lactose-free, and vegan-friendly substitute for cow's milk.

Does iced coffee have caffeine?

We’ve called our product a ‘chilled coffee’ because it comes in a ready to drink can (without ice) and yes it does contain caffeine. There is 120mg of caffeine the Original and the Mocha, which is the equivalent of a double shot of espresso.

Do you put sugar in your iced (chilled) coffee?

Our products contain no added sugar, this means the only sugar in our them occurs naturally in oats we used to make the oat milk. The good news… This amounts to only 0.5, 1 .2 and 1.5 grams in our Latte, Mocha and Choc (respectively) of natural sugar per serving (240 mL).

Do you use sweetener in your products?

We use natural flavours and stevia, a natural substance obtained from a shrub called Stevia rebaudiana.

What coffee do you use?

We cold brew single-origin Java coffee for a smooth and rich flavour.

Are your products vegan?

Yes, our Chilled Coffee Original and Mocha and Chilled Choc are all vegan and dairy free.

How are your products long-life?

We use a heat process that allows our product to self-preserve within their can without adding any nasties.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Our cans and boxes are 100% recyclable. Our cans currently have a PETG shrink sleeve, these do not stop the can from being recycled. We will remove this shrink sleeve by changing to printed cans as soon we can meet the minimum order requirements.

We also use biodegradable tape to seal our cartons.

When you’ve finished your drink, rinse out your can and take it to a 10cent refund depot or put it in the recycling bin. If you purchased a carton, flatten the box, and put it in the recycling bin.

Are you an Australian company?

Yes, we are an Australian and family-owned company.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer flat-rate delivery fee of $10 for all orders.

How long will it take to receive my product after ordering?

We ship from QLD. Standard shipping to most metro areas will take 2-5 days. With regional areas, including Western Australia taking up to 7-10 days.

Christmas and other public holidays can cause delays in delivery
times.

Can I return my product if I don’t like it?

We cannot accept returns for change of mind. If your product is damaged or faulty, please ensure you take pictures and email hello@dontdairy.com.au and we
will provide you with a full refund. In some cases, will we request that the
products are returned, at our expense, for further investigation. Refunds can only be paid in the same tender as the original purchase or refunded to the account used to pay for the item in the case of a 30-day business account holder.
